I have been a huge fan of the movie and TV installments, so a comic edition filling in the story between the two mediums was a wonderful addition to the franchise. More the second half of one book but the storytelling was excellent. Lian Zhen has again written another excellent book on traditional Chinese painting techniques and his unique style of merging Chinese painting methods with western watercolor. But I had no idea what to do with all of the information I was given. In addition, they are beautifully printed on a nice, heavy paper.
I'll be keeping the book, but in the meantime still searching for a good book on deck design that is actually more of a how-to..
