"The lordship of Christ should include an interest in the arts," writes Francis Schaeffer. "A Christian should use these arts to the glory of God, not just as tracts, mind you, but as things of beauty to the praise of God." Many Christians, wary of creating graven images, have steered clear of artistic creativity. But the Bible offers a robust affirmation of the arts. The human impulse to create reflects our being created in the image of a creator God. Art and the Bible has been a foundational work for generations of Christians in the arts. In this book's classic essays, Francis Schaeffer first examines the scriptural record of the use of various art forms, and then establishes a Christian perspective on art. With clarity and vigor, Schaeffer explains why "the Christian is the one whose imagination should fly beyond the stars."

I admit it. This book is intended to provide, in a short volume, an introduction to the theory of aircraft for use by undergraduate and graduate students. I am his mom and I truly, deeply appreciate your insight for this book. At 5.75 x 3 inches they are larger sized than some others on the market.
Something important is that the go up to the number 12, and there are 170 cards in each set. The characters draw you in, the world building is rich and detailed (culture, religion, cities, family, friends) and you are going to miss it all when you're finished reading. I read this book and could imagine the Wailers in the first years, struggling to get their songs recorded and sold.. In any case as stated it is a SONGBOOK, which is a book of sheet music. Sometimes the teaching points were subtle enough to require a careful consideration of the images.
