Carl E. Van Horn, Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and founding director of the John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development at Rutgers University, is an expert on workforce, human resources, and employment policy issues with extensive experience in academia and the public sector. He is the author of more than one hundred articles and author or editor of fourteen books. Van Horn is frequently sought by national media for his views on labor, workforce, and economic issues.
Few figures/images in this black-and-white publication limit its usefulness. Now, I can get my workout in while I watch my favorite show.
Downside for me is, I really can't concentrate on TV if I'm doing a heavy cardio workout. He was especially talking about this guy Gerald Tarrant, it rang a bell and I took a good look at the cover and it all came back to me. It is flawed, but that’s what the story is about. This wasn’t a deal breaker for me, but was a surprise once I started reading.
Many different psychological illnesses and conditions are mentioned in this book, but none are really elaborated on. Those were not enough to redeem Sam in my eyes. The only surviving examples of his work are a few biographies from his work "De Viris Illustribus," which he apparently modeled after Plutarch's "Lives."
The surviving pieces consist of an introduction, several biographies of non-Roman generals, and two biographies of Roman historians. He makes me wish I'd be
