A pillar of both the Irish and British literary establishments, in Yeats' later years he served as an Irish Senator for two terms. Yeats was a driving force behind the Irish Literary Revival and along with Lady Gregory, Edward Martyn and others, founded the Abbey Theatre, where he served as its chief during its early years. In 1923, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature as the first Irishman so honored for what the Nobel Committee described as "inspired poetry, which in a highly artistic form gives expression to the spirit of a whole nation." Yeats is considered to be one of the few writers who completed their greatest works after being awarded the Nobel Prize.

The book has been compared to Mercedes Lackey's Vanyel trilogy (starting with Magic's Pawn), and related Amazon recommendations include Lynn Flewelling's Nightrunner series (starting with Luck in the Shadows) and Kirby Crow's Scarlet trilogy. Cons - Cyrillic displays very well on an iPad (my guess is better than on a Kindle), but a lot of the Cyrillic text is not searchable or sizeable. That is why this book on the Chinese financial structure is such a welcome addition. The result is gorgeous! Love it :-). Freidman doesn't seem content to "play by the rules." I still get the creeps when I think of Gerald Tarrant, what a GREAT character. Armed with this enlightening roadmap, many DW professionals will be far better equipped to design and build systems that meet the challenges today and tomorrow.. Get this!!!. Unless cheesy B-movies like "Bloodrayne" and "Gryphon" appeal to you, you'd be better off looking elsewhere for your fantasy fix.
