A Wonderful and insightful read about early America. Highly recommended.. "Explains each type of welding, including stick, tig, mig, and flux core welding". Especially interested in his tour of Virginia, Mount Vernon and Washington D.C. Together, these many tales create a compelling and vivid portrait of the lives of young women in colonial and post-Revolutionary America.. And Arkansas. Few figures/images in this black-and-white publication limit its usefulness. What the heck is she doing in Arkansas? Well, she found an interesting sampler there and, as is her wont, she want crawling all over creation, searching in public and church records and tracking down descendants to build a story about each sampler. Those bright long stitches at the top are something I've never seen before.

This is one of my all-time fave kind of books--a loving and detailed look at samplers from women and girls long gone but living on in their beautiful works. Despite the domestic nature of the craft
