They wanted to be recognized as good warriors when merited and wanted no special treatment because they were women. Would recommend.. Each chapter stands alone as moving account of a mother's struggles and triumphs in a particular instance; all the chapters are tied together by the common thread of the voice of the mother's experience in each instance. However, the book is for sale TODAY, and it was written in about 1998I'm no RV expert, but haven't things changed a whole bunch in the last +-2 decades?? I wouldn't think this would be the best book to buy for a novice - like me- who wants to understand how to maintain and operate their new or recent year RV..
