In response several of our members requested a discussion group to consider the many provocative issues raised by the book.. as expected. It might be better used for individual study for someone who really wanted to explore in depth how they personally interpreted Deuteronomy. It is fun just to look at and even better to read. I will especially enjoy it during the cold Chicago winter.. These characters are way over the top, but their commitment to being superheroes, to being good guys and doing right, seems honest the way only second and third graders can be when they're totally interested in something.
And while this book has great characters and a very good humored vibe maybe the greatest appeal of this series is that the stories rocket along but are easy to follow every step of the way.
