Swanson's logic is irrefutable.
In clear, honest and straight-forward language Swanson shows how politicians in their hunger to be reelected have deceived you and me. When you read it you must look through the eyes of someone just experiencing the Catholic faith. The author should have spent a bit of time doing a better job on the hand drawn diagrams as some of them are not well done. This is meant to be an introductory book to Catholicism for high school students, confirmation candidates and members of RCIA classes.
As a converted Catholic myself, this book was a decent "refresher course" on topic I was taught some 16 years ago. Blond's good, solid colors can't hide Hunter's rather static and lifeless panels and inconsistent, cartoony body proportions and Ferreyra's covers just look flat, uninteresting and scream amatuer night.
