While my son was in rehab for herion addiction I was busy. Beautiful book, with a very imaginative story. He’s selfish and is clueless about how lonely his wife is. -- in other parts of the world he'd long been recognized as a great director and actor.) And still some of the best movies he's done (whether he directed them or not) are not given the credit they deserve by self-important critics: Beguiled, Play Misty for Me, Thunderbolt and Lightfoot, The Outlaw Josey Wales, White Hunter Black Heart, Bird all come to mind as well as many others. The songs are old timey and the music is well printed for easy reading.. In that issue we discover a new weakness of the Black Rings (a weakness which seems rather unlikely) but this defect never carries over into the main storyline. I love the MacDonald trilogy! Can't wait to read the third book!. I cannot begin to tell you how awesome this book is.
